STRAIGHT TO THE SOLUTION

Start here

01Check the friend connection↓02Create a new lobby↓03Switch hosts↓
01

Check the friend connection

  1. Confirm the correct Steam accounts are friends and online. A public random search does not replace this connection.
02

Create a new lobby

  1. Have the host create a fresh co-op lobby and send a new invitation. Avoid invitations from closed sessions.
03

Switch hosts

  1. Test the other host with the same two people. If only one direction works, compare that player’s network and Steam connection.
04

Report the result

  1. If it still fails, compare everyone’s build and branch. Record the error and whether the invite arrives or joining fails afterwards.
