Compare builds

  1. Have everyone record the displayed build number. Also compare the selected branch in Steam → Properties → Game Versions & Betas.

Choose one branch

  1. After backing up saves, select the same branch; prefer the normal non-beta branch for diagnosis. Wait for updates.

Match add-ons

  1. Test a fresh session without mods. Do not continue an important modded run with required add-ons missing.

Retry joining

  1. Restart everyone’s game and send a fresh invitation. If it works, do not also change the router or firewall.
