Preserve existing options

  1. Copy Steam launch options. Test once without custom parameters and note whether music and the pointer appear.

  1. Compare your GPU and driver with Steam requirements. Install a suitable driver from the GPU manufacturer and restart Windows.

  1. Open the Mega Crit source below and follow its linked renderer comparison for your operating system. Use one option at a time and remove it if it does not help.

Preserve diagnostic data

  1. If the screen stays black, save current files from %APPDATA%\SlayTheSpire2\logs. Include OS, GPU and tested option when contacting Mega Crit.
