Restart the EA app

  1. Close the game and EA app. Relaunch the EA app once with right-click → Run as administrator.
  2. Launch Battlefield 6 directly there, including if you own it through Steam.

  1. If the error persists, open the linked EA Javelin guide and use its official installer.
  2. Select the affected game, uninstall its anti-cheat entry through the installer and install it again.

Record the result

  1. Record whether the installer succeeded or displayed its own error.
  2. Report an unchanged error to EA with the installation path and launcher. Avoid replacement DLLs from download sites.
