  1. Wait for Game server connected and note the configured port and startup arguments.

  1. Steam backend needs the configured UDP port and following port reachable; default is 2456–2457. Crossplay uses a different connection path.

  1. Test with a player outside your home network. Check specific required rules instead of disabling the firewall.

Frequently asked questions
