Find LightingService

  1. Press Windows + R and open the Services console.
  2. Find “ASUS AURA SYNC lighting service” or the service name “LightingService”. If it is absent, skip this fix.

Stop the service and compare

  1. Record its current state. Stop only LightingService without changing its startup type.
  2. Repeat the same gameplay situation. RGB effects may stop during the test.

Restore the service

  1. Use “Start” to restore the service.
  2. If performance did not improve, leave it running and try the other performance fixes.
