Crash after 40–50 minutes: test upscaling
- Close the game and back up GameUserSettings.ini in the folder below.
- Set NvidiaDLSSMode and FSR3QualityMode to 0, save and test. Also disable frame generation in the menu.
- Restore the backup if it does not help. Results depend on hardware and the actual cause.

02
Shader crash or 0xC0000005
- Allow shader compilation to finish without terminating the game.
- Close overlays and recording tools, then verify game files.
- If the error remains, clear DirectX Shader Cache through Windows Disk Cleanup. It must rebuild on the next launch.
- Test Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS) separately and restore its previous state if that does not help.
03
The entire PC reboots
- Return CPU and GPU overclocks to stable defaults and first compare with a 60 FPS cap.
- Check temperatures, drivers and Windows Event Viewer. Record original settings before any BIOS or RAM changes.
- Kernel-Power 41 confirms an unexpected restart but does not identify its cause alone. Repeated full-system failures need system-level diagnosis.
04
Out of video memory and RAM pressure
- Match textures and streaming to available VRAM. Reduce shadows, reflections and global illumination in steps.
- Close browser tabs, recording software and other GPU-heavy background programs.
- Keep the Windows page file enabled; start with system-managed sizing instead of arbitrary large fixed values.
05
Stutter despite high FPS
- Fully restart the PC. Use an SSD with adequate free space and finish shader compilation.
- Compare fullscreen and borderless modes. Rule out peripheral software and overlays individually.
- If the issue began after a driver update, test a suitable previously stable version. Use the dedicated fixes for Intel Arc or ASUS Aura Sync.
06
Collect crash information
- Record GPU, driver version, game version and the exact situation.
- Share existing crash logs from the folder below and DxDiag directly with support if needed.

Does disabling DLSS and FSR fix every crash?
No. It is a targeted test for crashes after longer sessions. Back up the configuration and restore it if performance does not improve.
