  1. Find the game drive in your launcher. If installed on an HDD, use the launcher move function to transfer it to an SSD with sufficient free space.

Measure a baseline

  1. Walk the same short route twice without combat. Record FPS and pauses; suspend downloads and file copies during the comparison.

Compare resolution

  1. Lower only the resolution and repeat the route. If FPS rises substantially, increase image quality in stages. If it barely changes, inspect background load.

  1. Choose an FPS cap the PC can sustain in this scene. Check a more demanding area next and keep the setting only if play feels smoother.
