STRAIGHT TO THE SOLUTION

01

Choose a repeatable section

  1. Record the location, character and last action. Use an existing safe checkpoint without overwriting an important slot.
02

Change one variable

  1. Close recording apps and extra overlays. Replay the section; if stable, restore the apps one at a time.
03

Test load sensitivity

  1. Temporarily reduce graphics quality and the FPS target. A delayed or absent crash suggests load sensitivity but does not prove faulty hardware.
04

Escalate with evidence

  1. Record the build, GPU, driver and scene if it persists. Pearl Abyss documents PERS for submitting diagnostic data. Review the report before sending it.

Frequently asked questions

Does every crash mean a corrupt save?

No. Investigate saves when other slots work and the same slot repeatedly fails.
