Identify the pattern

  1. Check that FSR4 is active and distortion occurs in rain. Problems in dry weather may have a different cause.

Switch upscalers

  1. Try native rendering or another method available in the menu. Record the previous setting so you can restore it.

Compare like for like

  1. Compare the same location in rain where possible. If FPS is too low, lower output resolution before immediately restoring FSR4.

Retest after updates

  1. Keep comparison images with the build number. Retest after a relevant patch and restore your preferred option only if the image is clean.
