  1. Open Windows → System → About and read the exact edition. Record whether its name includes N.

Add the appropriate component

  1. On an N edition, check Optional features for a missing Media Feature Pack and install it through Windows. Restart afterwards.

Retest the same sequence

  1. Load an existing checkpoint before the video. Compare picture and audio without changing HDR or graphics quality in this test.

Separate other causes

  1. On a standard edition or if videos remain black, verify game files. Tell Capcom the exact scene, edition and whether normal gameplay renders.
