STRAIGHT TO THE SOLUTION

Start here

01Close the game completely↓02Preserve only named caches↓03Wait for rebuilding↓
01

Close the game completely

  1. Quit Requiem and open its installation folder containing re9.exe through Steam. Do not edit user or save folders.
02

Preserve only named caches

  1. Rename existing shader.cache, shader.cache2 and pipelinelist.bin with a unique additional .bak suffix. Skip absent files and never overwrite an old backup.
03

Wait for rebuilding

  1. Launch through Steam and allow initial loading to complete uninterrupted. Rebuilding may lengthen this launch.
04

Retest the scene

  1. Check the previously failing scene. If worse, quit, preserve new caches separately and restore the original names of the old files.
