STRAIGHT TO THE SOLUTION

01

Compare basic controls

  1. Test menu navigation with keyboard and controller. If only adaptive triggers or particular haptics are missing, consult the Steam FAQ first.
02

Connect one device directly

  1. Disconnect extra gamepads and connect the controller directly over USB. Check its input in Steam.
03

Avoid duplicate translation

  1. Temporarily close external controller mappers and use a simple Steam layout. Compare the per-game Steam Input setting separately.
04

Verify the outcome

  1. Test menus, movement and camera. If Steam detects it but the game does not, record model and connection type for Capcom; undo ineffective changes.
