Compare the symptom

  1. Test the same dialogue scene and a menu sound. Check in-game volume controls and note whether all voices or only one scene are missing.

Check language

  1. Inspect voice language under Main Menu → SETTINGS → LANGUAGE. After changing it, allow any downloads to finish and restart.

Simplify the signal path

  1. Test directly connected headphones without virtual mixers or additional spatial processing. Compare the dialogue, then restore extras individually.

Check device assignment

  1. Inspect Windows app output. If only one scene fails, report the scene, language and build; for globally missing audio also use Microsoft’s guide.
