STRAIGHT TO THE SOLUTION

01

Avoid further overwrites

  1. Do not start a new game yet. Close Crimson Desert on both PCs and note where you last saw the correct progress.
02

Make a local copy

  1. On Windows, copy %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pearl Abyss\CD\save to a separate location. Verify that the copy contains files.
03

Check account and transfer

  1. Compare the store and signed-in account. On Steam, check Cloud status on the last PC and resolve sync errors before launching on the second device.
04

Do not replace files blindly

  1. Compare timestamps with your last session. If the correct version is unclear, retain the copies and ask support instead of overwriting files experimentally.

Does Steam Cloud replace a separate backup?
